A Search for Truth and Identity: Raymond M. Wong stopped being Chinese at the age of five and spent most of his life running from his family and culture. It wasn't until he went back to Hong Kong at the age of thirty-three that he discovered how much he had lost. His memoir, I'm Not Chinese: The Journey from Resentment to Reverence, is a tale of forgiveness and reconnection. Wong earned the MFA in Creative Writing at Antioch University Los Angeles and he has published stories in six Chicken Soup for the Soul books.
There will be a free drawing at the end of the presentation to give prizes to people who attend.
