Realizing a Dream: Is it possible to get published without an agent? Raymond M. Wong published his memoir, I'm Not Chinese: The Journey from Resentment to Reverence with Apprentice House, a small university press in 2014. Wong will do a breakout session call "Passion and Persistence" at the San Diego State University Writers' Conference about how he achieved his dream.
